TREKK.ca Unveils NEW Look!

Published by: michadmin on April 26th, 2012

TREKK: Translating Emergency Knowledge for Kids…an initiative to mobilize knowledge on best pediatric emergency care, recently launched a redesigned website.

The site’s new look features a new color scheme, an interactive map, and a 3 phase translation of TREKK. The website is now easier to navigate through, cleaner and more interactive. All of these changes are part of a plan to meet an online demand for up-to-date TREKK information and to join the world of social media. One of our goals is to engage many different audiences including members of the public, researchers and medical staff, as well as keeping up to date with content.

We want to guarantee we are able to continually improve the quality of what users can access through our site and that they’re easily able to find what they need.

Visit the TREKK website at: www.TREKK.ca

 Website features include:

New TREKK look: The total look is fresher, easier to navigate and more interactive.

Interactive Map: Visitors are now able to click on each PERC site involved with TREKK. In time, by clicking on a certain PERC site they will sent to that site’s home page to view their activities involving TREKK.

3 Phases of TREKK: TREKK can now be classified into three phases: Needs Assessment, Knowledge Synthesis and Knowledge Mobilization. The three phases help the viewing audience easily translate the idea of TREKK, the current status and what the future of TREKK is.

More improvements to better serve the public and staff will be introduced in phases. In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments about the new TREKK website, please contact Greg Van de Mosselaer at (204) 952-8063 or email vandemos@cc.umanitoba.ca  or Sarah Delaquis at (204) 272-3135 or email sdelaquis@mich.ca
